The pattern
- start 6sc in a magic ring [6]
- inc in all 6 [12]
- (sc,inc) x6 [18]
- sc in all 18 [18]
- (sc,inc) x9 [27]
- - 10. sc in all 27 [27]
I added the safety eyes between rounds 9 and 10, four stitches apart. The beak is just some yellow yarn sewn over the two stitches in between the eyes.
- (sc,dec) x9 [18]
- (sc,dec) x6 [12]
- dec x6 [6]
- Stuff with fiberfill.
- Sew through front loops and tighten to close.
- Use a small elastic band to gather the first 2-3 rounds into the duck’s tuft (you can use your main yarn to hide the elastic when you weave it in).
